A Rousing Success!

Nearly one hundred people attended our Saturday, May 19 gathering with Senator Barbara Boxer at the Veterans Memorial Building near Lake Merritt in Oakland. Funds raised will support our 2004 Democratic candidates and campaign.

Leading the Charge

(September 6, 2001) - Senator Boxer joins Representative George Miller, environmental leaders, and other members of Congress in a press conference urging President Bush to protect America's forests.

Our Democratic Senator faces an aggressive challenge in 2004 by
right-wing Republicans who
have targeted her for
her vigorous defense of the environment, human rights,
education and other
progressive policies.

our strong support.
